Shipping Policy

SHIPPING, FREIGHT & DELIVERY POLICY 

 

Sam’s Furniture & More is committed to transparent communication and responsible handling of customer orders. Due to the nature of shipping, freight logistics, and third-party carriers, the following policy applies to all shipped or delivered merchandise. 

 

NO REFUNDS – SHIPPING DOES NOT ALTER SALES POLICY 

 

Shipping, freight, delivery, or transit delays do not change or override Sam’s Furniture & More No-Refund Policy. 

 

-All sales are final 

-Shipping issues, delays, damages, or carrier errors do not qualify for refunds 

-This applies to all merchandise categories without exception 

 

FREIGHT & SHIPPING CHARGES 

 

Shipping and freight charges are separate from the purchase price. Freight charges may be added, adjusted, or updated at any time, including after purchase, due to: 

 

-Carrier rate changes 

-Fuel surcharges 

-Routing changes 

-Oversize, overweight, or special-handling requirements 

 

Sam’s Furniture & More will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of changes; however, notification is not guaranteed. Freight charges are non-refundable once incurred. 

 

THIRD-PARTY CARRIERS & TRANSIT 

 

All shipments are handled by independent third-party carriers, including but not limited to freight companies, parcel services, and logistics providers. Sam’s Furniture & More does not control carrier handling, routing, or delivery timing. Shipments may pass through multiple transfer points during transit. Delays, rerouting, or handling changes are inherent risks of shipping. Once merchandise is released to a carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer. 

 

DAMAGE, LOSS & HANDLING DURING SHIPPING 

 

Sam’s Furniture & More is not responsible for: 

-Shipping damage 

-Concealed damage 

-Lost or delayed shipments 

-Mishandling by carriers 

-Dropped, crushed, or impacted packages 

-Glass breakage or cosmetic damage during transit 

 

All damage claims must be directed to the shipping carrier, not Sam’s Furniture & More. Customers are responsible for: 

-Inspecting shipments upon delivery 

-Noting visible damage with the carrier before accepting delivery 

-Filing any carrier claims directly and promptly 

 

PACKAGING & PREPARATION 

 

Merchandise is shipped in manufacturer or carrier-approved packaging 

Packaging condition does not affect the sale or eligibility for refund or exchange 

Packaging damage alone does not constitute product damage 

 

DELIVERY TIMING & ACCESS 

 

Delivery dates are estimates only, not guarantees. Sam’s Furniture & More is not liable for delays caused by: 

 

-Weather 

-Carrier scheduling 

-Mechanical issues 

-Acts of God 

-Supply chain disruptions 

-Missed delivery appointments, access issues, or customer unavailability do not qualify for refunds or credits. 

 

SPECIAL ITEMS & HIGH-RISK MERCHANDISE 

 

Certain items carry increased shipping risk, including but not limited to: 

 

-Glass or fragile items 

-Electronics 

-Engines and mechanical components 

-Large appliances 

-Customers acknowledge these risks when selecting shipments rather than in-store pickup. 

 

CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT 

 

By completing a purchase that includes shipping or delivery, the customer: 

 

-Acknowledges the No-Refund Policy 

-Accepts all shipping-related risks 

-Understands freight charges may change 

-Agrees Sam’s Furniture & More is not liable for carrier actions 

 

MANAGEMENT RIGHTS 

 

Sam’s Furniture & More reserves the right to: 

-Select shipping methods and carriers 

-Modify freight charges when necessary 

-Refuse shipment if conditions are unsafe or impractical 

-Update this policy at any time without prior notice
